Provider-level Custom Exercises

We offer providers the option of adding multiple custom exercises to a new or existing template, an existing patient's prescription, or when creating a prescription for new patients. 

Below is a video tutorial on how to add custom exercises:

Adding a Custom Exercise via Templates


1. Once you've logged in as an Admin or Therapist, navigate to the "Templates" tab.

2. You'll then be directed to the "Templates" page. Make sure to select "My Templates" from the Filter. 

** You cannot make changes to templates that were created by other providers.

On this page, you can add a Custom Exercise in the following ways: 

a.) Search for an existing template by name:

b.) Select a template from the list displayed 

c.) Add a new template by clicking the "+Add Template" button 

For the sake of this section, we'll be adding a Custom Exercise to a new template. The process is exactly the same when adding a Custom Exercise to an existing template.

3. After clicking the "+Add Template" button, you'll be directed to the Template Creation page on which you can add a template name. Click "+" icon beside Selected Exercises.

pop-up will be displayed titled "Add Custom Exercise" On this pop-up you'll be prompted to enter the:

  • Exercise Name
  • Parameters (sets; reps; hold)
  • Instructions
  • Exercise Video URL 

You can choose to save the custom exercise to "My Exercises" or "Clinic Exercises". 

  • Save to My Clinic Exercises - custom exercises will only be visible to the creator
  • Save to Clinic Exercises - custom exercises will be added to Clinic Exercises Library and will be visible to all providers (only Administrators have this option


4. Once you're satisfied with the exercise you'd like to add, click the "Save Changes" button.


5. Your Custom Exercise will appear in the "Selected Exercise" bucket on the right. You can continue to add as many Custom exercises as you'd like, and these can be rearranged as well.

Custom Exercises are now displayed/added on the exercises library when you add via Templates.

Custom exercises when Adding a New Patient


For the sake of this section, we'll be adding a custom exercise to a new patient's prescription from the Exercise Creation page.

The process is exactly the same when adding a custom exercise to an existing patient's prescription.


Step-by-Step Guide:


1. Once you've logged in as an Admin or Therapist, click the "+ Add Patient" button. Click the link for a detailed guide on Adding Patients.

2. You'll be directed to the "Exercise Creation" page once your patient has been successfully added. Click "+" icon beside Selected Exercises. A pop-up will appear titled "Add Custom Exercise". On this pop-up you'll be prompted to enter the:

  • Exercise Name
  • Parameters (sets; reps; hold)
  • Instructions
  • Exercise Video URL 

Note: You can choose to save the custom exercise to "My Exercises" or "Clinic Exercises". 


  • Save to My Clinic Exercises - custom exercises will only be visible to the creator
  • Save to Clinic Exercises - custom exercises will be added to Clinic Exercises Library and will be visible to all providers (only Administrators have this option


4. Once you're satisfied with the exercise you'd like to add, click the "Save Changes" button.


5. Your Custom Exercise will appear in the "Selected Exercise" bucket on the right. You can continue to add as many Custom exercises as you'd like, and these can be rearranged as well.
