Blast iOS Push Notifications

What is a Push Notification?

Push notifications let you send personalized messages directly to all patients who have downloaded the app and enabled notifications. It’s a powerful way to keep your patients engaged with timely updates, reminders, and encouragement. This feature is available exclusively to group admin users, giving you full control over communication.

1.) Log in to the provider portal and navigate to the Administrator Dashboard by clicking your name in the upper-right corner.

2.) From the Administrator Dashboard, select the "Push Notifications" button.



3.) Enter your desired Title and Message in the respective fields. The message field is limited to 200 characters.


Suggested Title Length: 40 characters to avoid truncation


4.) Once you're done, click "Send Push Notification" to send the message to all of your patients.

5.) Once the "Send Push Notification" button is clicked, an Are you sure? pop-up will appear. Click "Send Now" on the pop-up to send the push notification.

6.) Push Notification sent successfully! Patients in this group will be notified with your message pop-up will appear in the top right corner once your push notification has been successfully sent.

7.) Push notifications will be sent to all of your patients who have downloaded the app and enabled the push notification feature on their mobile phones.

  • This feature is currently available for iOS mobile users, with expanded device support coming soon.
