Apple Developer Enrollment: How to get a D-U-N-S® Number

Your company's unique nine-digit DUNS number, also known as a Data Universal Number System number, is used to create a D&B® file that can be used by potential partners to learn more about your company and to help them decide whether or not to work with you as a client, supplier, or partner.

1.) The first step in creating a new D-U-N-S Number is to check to see whether one has already been created for you by Dun & Bradstreet.

Follow this link, scroll down and select "I have a US-based business."
