Apple Developer Enrollment: D-U-N-S Number
Part 3: Enrolling in the Apple Developer Program
1.) Once you've logged in, or created a new Apple ID and logged in here, you'll see a link titled "Join the Apple Developer Program" at the bottom section of the page, in purple.
2.) This will direct you to a page where Apple discusses the developer program in detail. You can read this at your leisure, but when you're ready, click the "Enroll" button.
3.) You'll further be directed to a page that details the two different account types, and what you'll need for each. Choose the appropriate company/organization. After reviewing this information, click "Start your enrollment."
4.) Confirm that all of your information (email, name, and location) is correct, then select an entity. The Entity Type must be "Company/Organization."
5.) To enroll as a Company/Organization, one of the enrollment requirements is a D-U-N-S Number. These unique nine-digit numbers are assigned by Dun & Bradstreet and are widely used as standard business identifiers. You may already have one issued to you.
If you don't have a DUNS Number, get one here for free.
Or, read the tutorial on how to get your DUNS Number.
6.) On the next screen, you’ll be asked to fill out the Contact and Organization information linked to your account:
7.) Following that, you'll be asked to read through and confirm that you've read the Apple developer account agreement. Check the box to confirm you've read it and click "Continue."
8.) Confirm that all previously supplied information is correct, then click "Continue."
Your enrollment has now been submitted, and you'll receive an email with instructions on how to complete it.
