Prompt Patient Online Scheduling Experience

When patients use the Prompt in-app appointment scheduling through the Prompt Engage mobile app, they can access the following features:


Core Scheduling Features

Patients can schedule multiple appointments directly through the "Appointments" tab of the Prompt Engage mobile app. They can also view their upcoming visits within the same interface .


Patient Experience Features

When using the in-app scheduling, patients have access to:

  • Case Selection: If patients have multiple cases, they can select which case they want to book appointments for
  • Facility Selection: Depending on your settings, patients can choose from facilities they've visited or any facility in your organization
  • Provider Selection: Patients can select providers based on your configured flexibility settings
  • Place of Service Options: Patients can book different types of visits (In Clinic, Telehealth, etc.) based on what you've enabled

Booking Capabilities

  • Multiple Visit Booking: Patients can book several visits at once rather than one at a time
  • Plan of Care Integration: The system highlights suggested days/weeks according to their POC, with green weeks showing proper visit frequency and red weeks showing insufficient visits
  • Multi-Specialty Support: Patients with cases across different specialties (PT, OT, SLP, Chiro) can book one visit per specialty type per day

Additional Features

  • Upcoming Visit View: Patients can click "Upcoming Visits" to see all their scheduled appointments
  • Waitlist Preferences: The system can default to showing times matching patient waitlist preferences, with the option to view all available times
  • Appointment Queue: Patients can add multiple appointments to a queue before submitting their scheduling request
  • Confirmation Notifications: Patients receive email confirmations (or text if no email on file) when visits are scheduled or approved

Note:

  • Patients can not reschedule or cancel appointments.
