Below is a video tutorial on using the Exercise Program Templates:
Step-by-Step Guide:
1.) Log in to the system as an Admin or Therapist and click the "Templates" tab on the dashboard.
2.) To create a new template, click the "+Add Template" button.
- The process of building an exercise template is similar to creating a prescription for the patient.
- The only difference here is that you'll need to name and save the template once you are satisfied with the edits and customizations.
- For example, the below template name is "Hips." Followed by a search for "hip" exercises, as well as applying any filters (side-lying and exterior rotation) to narrow down the search.
- Templates can now also be saved as a group template by group admins by clicking the "Group Template" toggle on. This feature allows all providers in the group to easily identify, filter to display and search only from those group templates.
- Selecting both 'Group Templates' and 'My Templates' will show templates created by you that have been created as group templates.
3.) After adding the exercises to the template, they'll appear in the "Selected Exercises" bucket on the right. These can also be rearranged and/or removed, and you'll still be able to add more exercises to the prescription, if desired.
4.) Once you've selected the exercises to be included in the template, click the "Next" button at the bottom right of the page.
5.) You'll be directed to the Template Details page, where you'll be able to edit the template name, as well as modify and finalize the prescription details:
- Exercise Instructions
- Frequency
- Parameters
- Prescriptions Instructions
6.) When satisfied with the edits and customizations you've made, click the "Save" button on the bottom right of the screen.
7.) A Template Saved pop-up will appear on the top right of the page once your template has been saved successfully.
8.) Search for templates according to the template name, or author who created a template, by making use of the "Search" bar to the right of the "+Add Template" button.
9.) Providers can now apply the "Filter" button located to the right of the search bar to filter by "Group Templates" or "My Templates."
Here's how you can use an Exercise Template when creating a patient prescription:
1.) Upon logging in to the system as an Admin or Therapist, you'll automatically be directed to the Patients page. Click the "Add New Patient" button to add a new patient.
2.) There are 4 fields to be filled in: First Name, Last Name, Email Address and Location.
3.) After filling in the required information, click "Save & Add Prescription" button.
4.) A Success! Patient has been created pop-up will appear at the top right of the page once a patient has been created and saved successfully.
You will then be directed to the Exercise Creation page.
5.) Click the "Add Template" button to the right of the screen, symbolized by two blue pages.
6.) From the 'Add Template to Prescription' pop-up, you'll be able to search for templates by template name, template author via the "Search" bar at the top right of the pop-up.
Providers can also filter among Group Templates and the templates created by them.
7.) Click the name of the template you'd like to use and add it to the prescription.
8.) A Success! Template has been added pop-up will appear to indicate that the Template you've selected has been added.
The template, which contains the exercises, will then be populated in the "Selected Exercises" bucket. Here you'll be able to add or remove exercises, and replace or rearrange the exercises in the "Selected Exercises" bucket.
- Click the "Next" button at the bottom right of the page once you've added the template.
9.) You'll then be directed to the Prescription Details page, where you'll be able to rename the patient's home exercise program. You'll also be able to modify and finalize the prescription details for the patient:
- Exercise Instructions
- Frequency
- Parameters
- Prescriptions Instructions
10.) Once you're satisfied with the prescription details, click the "Assign" button at the bottom right of the page.
11.) A Success! Prescription successfully updated pop-up will appear at the top right of the page once the template has been successfully added to the prescription.
12.) You'll also be able to build a template using the "Save as Template" feature, symbolized by a bookmark icon found on every patient profile.

Template Editing Restricted to the Creator
Editing a template is restricted to the creator of the template. This means that only the provider who created the template will be able to edit it and make changes, while other providers will only have the functionality to view and assign the template to their patients.
